Sophia Grumer – Intern in project management

As part of my studies, I had the opportunity to complete my internship at the branch in Lyon. I felt very comfortable there from the start and was warmly welcomed into the team.

The varied tasks and insights into different projects allowed me to gain a lot of valuable experience. This diversity was particularly helpful in helping me to better orient myself and to see more clearly in which direction I would like to develop professionally after my studies.

I would like to express my sincere thanks for the excellent cooperation and support I received during my internship.

Elisa Foos – Internship in Project Management

The internship at KERN in Vienna was a very enriching experience for me. I gained exciting insights into project management and everyday work at an international language services provider. I particularly appreciated the support of my team, who welcomed me warmly from the start and assisted me with all my tasks.

Thanks to the varied tasks, ranging from final inspections to customer service, I was able to learn a lot and gain valuable practical experience.

All in all, I look back on my internship with great gratitude. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in languages, organization, and teamwork.

Thank you again and all the best!

Joanne Dontenville – Internship in Project Management

My very first real internship was at KERN Global Language Services, and honestly, I couldn't have wished for a better first professional experience.

What have I learned from these three months? I met wonderful people and developed professionally. As someone who is very shy, I have to admit that I was afraid at first. But my team supported me and helped me to develop further.

I can only recommend others to give it a try too – you won't regret it!

Thank you for this wonderful experience. I've come out of it stronger, both professionally and personally!

The team was extremely friendly, and there was a great, supportive atmosphere among colleagues. I was always able to ask questions and get help.

I found it particularly exciting to learn how to deal with customers from different countries. Project management was also a highlight for me: varied, challenging, and with a real sense of responsibility and success.

I’m very grateful that Kern gave me this opportunity – thank you very much for the wonderful time!

Anne – Intern from France

My time at KERN was short but intense. I only stayed for three months, but I learned a lot. I had several responsibilities, including auditing and project management – which also involved contact with customers. At first, it was a challenge for me to talk to them, but I’ve become more and more confident.

The atmosphere among the employees was very friendly. I wasn’t afraid to ask questions, and I constantly improved myself. And it’s just nice to work in a good working atmosphere!

I highly recommend this internship. It’s a great opportunity for anyone who wants to pursue a career in languages in the future, and it also allows us to discover a German city!

Lisa Marie Weller – Internship in project management

My internship at KERN AG was nothing short of amazing! It was a colorful mix of tasks, cultures, people, and experiences. Thanks to my colleagues, I felt safe and well taken care of in every situation, so I was able to take on every task that came my way with confidence. I learned a lot, from customer communication and supplier correspondence to the use of CAT tools. At first, I felt a little lost, but thanks to the support I received and various guidelines, I quickly found my own workflow.

I will take these experiences with me and never forget them. Thank you! 🙂

First and foremost, I proofread many translations for branches, with language combinations consisting of English, German, Dutch, and French. I also really enjoyed communicating with private clients and handling their inquiries from start to finish. The skills I have acquired will definitely be an advantage in my professional life.

I’m very grateful for the support I have received and for the opportunity to work at Kern.”
