YOUR TASKS
Are responsible for all operational tasks in the hotel, including but not limited to recruitment, reporting, budget planning etc.
Ensure our guests experience the best service through optimal staff scheduling
Work closely with different departments in our Berlin HQ such as HR, Finance, Revenue Management etc.
Lead directly a team of Assistant Managers and several shift leads in addition to a team of receptionists, service employees
Secure a safe and inclusive environment for colleagues and guests with a keen eye for individual needs and desires
Set long- and mid-term goals for your team and live to motivate them by being approachable, giving continuous feedback and discuss personal development- and job opportunities
Ensure all health, hygiene and safety regulations in the hotel are respected at all times
YOUR PROFILE
At least 2 years of experience in hospitality
Work experience in Italy is a plus
Inspirational leadership and have joy in leading a diverse, motivated team
A solution-driven mentality, showing strong commitment and an entrepreneurial way of thinking
Understanding of KPIs, budgeting, and operational performance
Profound knowledge of MS Office and front office systems (e.g. Sihot, Fidelio)
Enjoy working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
Excellent communication skills in Italian & English, any additional language is a plus
A desire to travel occasionally

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer (f/m/d) to join the maintenance team our MEININGER Hotel Amsterdam City West.

YOUR TASKS
You perform visual checks of communal areas and hotel grounds, execute exchange of wear and tear parts (light bulbs, mattresses, etc), basic repairs (furniture and bathroom equipment), small painting works, etc.
You monitor and maintain utility areas and equipment
You work closely with FM contractors and FM department to develop and xecute maintenance plans
You are responsible for and keep stock of all maintenance inventory of supplies and equipment
You respond to customer and management inquiries and requests and document them accordingly
You are accountable for the interior and exterior cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel
You’re flexible and understand that working in the Hotel industry occasionally can mean having to work during weekends, and on public holidays
You have experience with preventive maintenance processes
YOUR PROFILE
You have technical background or education, relevant practical experience is a plus
You enjoy helping people and getting things done
You work efficiently and independently, organizing multiple projects, tasks and activities
You enjoy diverse working environment and are flexible to work weekdays and weekends
You are fluent in English and preferably in Dutch
You possess Driver's license B

VOTRE PROFIL
Vous possédez une première expérience et êtes passionné par l'hôtellerie
