The development of sustainable products and processes will continue to play an increasingly important role in the medical device industry. Therefore, we are specifically seeking dedicated interns (m/f/d) with a background in sustainability technologies to support our development team for a period of 6 months, particularly for the life-cycle assessment of our product range.

We offer exciting insights into the manufacturing processes.

Are you looking for an internship for your upcoming practical semester in the field of sustainability in the development of medical devices? Then apply and become part of the product development team specializing in wound care.

Tasks:

Research on the materials and processes used in the manufacture of medical devices and their impact on the environment
Communication with external suppliers
Analysis and creation of life cycle assessments according to ISO 14040
Collaboration in the creation, visualization and modeling of LCA results using Sphera (GaBi) software in close coordination with the responsible development department.
Description of all necessary calculations and process steps leading to the final LCA result.
Creation of PowerPoint slides for the results presentation
You share your data with our marketing department to create customer information.

Skills:

We welcome applications from students with a technical or scientific background specializing in sustainability, ideally with a connection to the following or related fields: Sustainability Management, Sustainable Engineering, Textile Technology, Materials Science
Interest in a broad range of tasks in direct collaboration with the development team
Self-organization and independent work
Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of relevant LCA software is an advantage.
Good German and English skills are required; French skills are an advantage.
