Do you want to gain experience in private equity, bring your skills with you and learn from an experienced and successful team? Odewald KMU offers you the opportunity to gain far-reaching insights into private equity within the scope of an internship at the Berlin office for a period of 10-12 weeks (with flexible starting dates).
About Odewald KMU
Odewald KMU is an independent, entrepreneurial investment company which invests in profitable, fast-growing small and medium-sized companies in the German-speaking region within the framework of succession regulations and growth financing. We are one of the most active investors in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and have successfully accompanied more than 35 investments since our foundation in 2008.
Range of responsibilities:
Conducting market, sector and competition analyses
Business analyses (including description of business models, assessment of sales and cost drivers, key KPIs and SWOT analyses)
Company valuations and financial modelling (including business planning, LBO analysis, multiples)
Support for strategic issues concerning our portfolio companies
Your profile:
Studies in economics or other disciplines with a good economic understanding, and with at least 5 completed study semesters
Very good academic performance and strong analytical skills
Initial experience in the areas of private equity, venture capital, strategy consulting, investment banking or corporate finance
High motivation and dynamism, coupled with a fast perception and a high level of initiative
Strong communication and team skills
Very good knowledge of German and English
Good knowledge of Excel and safe handling of all other MS Office applications
